I’ve seen several cool mods over the years.  Techrivet had a cool post about a pc in a whisky bottle.  This one has to take the cake for byrner.  I’m probably partial to this because of my “day” job working with large machines, but it is a bit reminiscent of robot wars.

Are you freaked out about that?

A lot of great content to pick from to embed here, but most of it is already posted on this site.

This looks to be a pretty neat GUI (graphical user interface).  I’m not sure how much it adds to productivity, but combining with a touch screen or better yet a multi-touch screen would be sweet.  I wonder how it would handle multiple displays?  It does go to show how our everyday interaction with PCs is evolving.  It could be the beginning of a whole new way we interface with computers.

In these times of economic stress and government insanity it is things like this that make me confident of the future of America.

I’ll take two please (I need to feed three sub-Saharan African countries and that should just about cover it).

* I almost created a new category for the post which was “triple awesome”.
